Located about a mile east of Downtown Denver

Since it was a weekday the schedule had more trains along the RTD W line and this one came at just the right time to add to the image for today

The result was the distance starting to become out of focus and let the viewer imagine their own thoughts on the location

Observatory Park in the Winter Size:16"x20" On this day in NovemberThe Chamberlin Observatory is located at Observatory Park near the University of Denver. The observatory originally opened in 1890 and features a 20 inch refracting telescope. As a late January snow fell on the city I was out exploring new locations to photograph in the snow and found myself at the park. The flakes filled the sky and made the park into a snow globe feel on a day when the observatory itself would also just need to enjoy the scene.
