The crack is just in the paint, it doesn't run through the plastic Metal and rubber sections have been added to the rear This part will fit the GL1500 Goldwing The donor machine was a 1988 model and while many parts are interchangable with later years, many parts will not fit the later models Please check with a GL1500 specialist for compatibility
